El Solid Fest, un evento musical previsto para llevarse a cabo en Venezuela este próximo 30 y 31 de enero y el 1 de febrero, que contará con la participación de la reconocida agrupación Aerosmith, ha revelado que ya no se contará con la participación de Daddy Yankee entre su line up.

Aunque aun no se han revelado los motivos por los cuales Daddy Yankee, así como también el rapero 50 Cent ya no ofrecerán su espectáculo musical en el evento, la participación del dúo Wisin & Yandel todavía sigue en pie, como representantes del género del reggaeton.

El concierto de los puertorriqueños, cantantes de reggaetón más pegados del momento es un hecho. Para nadie es un secreto que debido a la tormenta tropical “Omar” que paso por las costas de su país natal Puerto Rico, impidió que los artistas se presentaran el pasado sábado 18 de octubre.

Como es sabido, Evenplus y Publi One, son las empresas encargadas de hacer realidad el sueño de muchos guayaneses, al traer a este suelo a Daddy Yankee y Tito El Bambino. Fueron reiteradas las conversaciones sostenidas para lograr unir a estos dos artistas, quienes por su apretada agenda de presentaciones a nivel mundial nos llevo unos días concretar la fecha que hoy es posible hacer pública a todos.

Los organizadores del evento, una vez más ofrecen disculpas públicamente por las molestias causadas, a la vez que aseguran no defraudar a quienes han confiado en ellos durante esta espera.
Como muestra de agradecimiento y el apoyo brindado, Evenplus y Publi One tienen preparada una sorpresa para todo el público; cabe la posibilidad de que se trate de un invitado nacional como también es probable que sea internacional. Daddy_Yankee Poco público asistió al espectáculo que ofreció el reguetonero Daddy Yankee el viernes en el club Olimpia. Menos de cinco mil personas fueron a ver al portorriqueño, que si bien se demoró en empezar su show, hizo muy buenas improvisaciones sobre Asunción y la mujer paraguaya.

El espectáculo se inició a las 22:30 y no a las 21:00 como se había anunciado. Primero, actuó el grupo paraguayo Parner y ya cerca de medianoche, ingresó Yankee al escenario.

El público ya estaba muy impaciente, pero enloqueció al ver a su ídolo en escena.

Se veían muchos claros en la gradería, así como la zona de césped y en el sector vip. En la tarde, el viento y el cielo nublado daban indicios de lluvia, lo que podría haber hecho temer al público. Sin embargo, el espectáculo se desarrolló normalmente.

Yankee realizó primero una introducción sobre “Talento de barrio”, para luego paliar el disgusto por la tardanza con sus éxitos como “Bailando”, “Machete”, “Mayor que yo” y buenas improvisaciones.

En la introducción pudo verse un video de “Talento de barrio”, donde podían observarse imágenes de barrios marginales de Puerto Rico, donde se podía apreciar la violencia y la vida dura en esos lugares.

El reguetonero estuvo acompañado por cinco músicos en escena, además de tres parejas de bailarines que presentaron coreografías interesantes, pero no procaces, como suele esperarse al tratarse de reguetón.

Yankee actuó en un escenario bajo, y con luces poco creativas.

El show incluyó también sus éxitos como “Pose”, “Gasolina”, “Lo que pasó, pasó”, “Rompe”, “Mirame”, “Ella me levantó”, entre otras más.

Daddy Yankee llegó a Asunción al filo del mediodía del viernes.
A la tarde ofreció una conferencia de prensa en la que habló sobre su música y el perfume que acaba de lanzar con su nombre.

“Aparte de lo que es la música, también soy empresario. He tenido la posibilidad de desarrollarme en otra faceta como la industria y el mundo de la moda. En noviembre sale el perfume y es el inicio de muchas cosas”, afirmó.

Talento de Barrio es una película y su fecha de lanzamiento fue el 14 de Agosto de 2008. El actor principal es el cantante puertorriqueño de reggaetón, Daddy Yankee. Está dirigida por José Iván Santiago y producida por George Rivera y Ángel M. Sanjurjo. Se filmó en el Residencial Gautier Benítez, Caguas, Barrios de Puerto nuevo, Puerto Rico y en los Estados Unidos.

Argumento
Daddy Yankee actúa como Édgar, o también llamado “[Dinero]“. Un joven enfadado de los barrios bajos de Puerto Rico, que está enredado entre la brutalidad de su vecindad y el golpeado de su barrio. Sobre aquel camino Édgar encuentra la interrupción entre su pandilla, enamorándose de una muchacha a quien Édgar debe ocultarle su unión con su grupo de barrio. Pronto Édgar debe afrontar la pregunta: ¿Moriría él como el “Cangri” de la pandilla o resucitaría él como “El Gran Jefe” del Reggaetón?

Va a ser un disco muy caliente. Tendrá muchísima energía, canciones para que las chicas puedan bailar y mover sus cuerpos. Música para que la gente salga de fiesta y se olvide de sus problemas. Eso es lo que más me interesa. Pero también tocaré en él algunos temas sociales que afectan a Jamaica y al resto del mundo, como la violencia.

Ya trabajaste con Beyoncé y Rihanna, y alguna vez declaraste que te encantaría hacerlo con Alicia Keys ¿Quién sigue en tu lista?
Bueno, recientemente hice algunas colaboraciones: Gym Class Heroes, Snoop Doggy Dogg y R Kelly, pero de todas las personas con las que me gustaría trabajar, la que ocupa el primer lugar es Alicia Keys. Es una persona muy hermosa.

¿Cuál es la conexión entre el reggaetón y el dancehall?
Yo creo que hay una conexión entre todos los tipos de música pop, porque involucran a chicos que expresan lo que tienen en la cabeza y dan rienda suelta a sus egos. El reggaetón, además, tiene un ritmo similar a la música jamaiquina. El dancehall es hijo del reggae, y el reggaetón, básicamente, es hijo del dancehall.

Hay muchos críticos que aseguran que los artistas de dancehall son poco respetuosos con las mujeres en sus letras. La realidad social de Jamaica siempre ha involucrado una lucha de poder entre el hombre y la mujer. Esta música es una prolongación del ego de los artistas. No se trata de faltarles el respeto a las mujeres. Por lo general, se trata de hombres peleando entre ellos por las mujeres. Es un choque de egos.

¿Cómo será tu presentación en el Perú?
Voy a Lima para ‘destruir’ ese lugar, en el mejor sentido de la palabra.

Las estrellas más importantes de la música reggaetón y Dance Hall cantarán juntas por primera vez en un concierto inédito denominado URBAN DANCE, que se realizará el próximo 6 se junio en la explanada del Estadio Monumental.

El mega festival de la música urbana presentará a Tego Calderón, Sean Paul y Daddy Yankee, quienes compartirán por primera vez un escenario, convirtiendo a la ciudad de Lima en el nuevo punto de referencia entre los seguidores del género que cada día conquista multitudes.

Hasta el momento no se han confirmado la fecha de llegada de los artistas, que permanecerán en promedio dos días en nuestro país; sin embargo, se presume que Daddy Yankee podría llegar antes para promocionar su nueva película “Talento de barrio”.

El show estará dividido en tres partes y durará un total de 4 horas y media. Las estradas ya pueden ser compradas en “tu entrada” de Plaza Vea, desde 40 hasta 330 soles.
